Lebanese restaurant, Comptoir Libanais, has announced its latest expansion plans, with the brand’s twenty-second site set to launch at Grand Central Birmingham this spring.

The 100 cover, 3,047 sq ft space that will house Comptoir’s first restaurant in the West Midlands is located next to Indian street food specialists Mowgli, and will join other leading restaurant brands such as Tapas Revolution and Pho.

Comptoir Libanais, meaning ‘Lebanese counter’, offers authentic, traditional Middle Eastern cuisine in a casual, comfortable setting. The Birmingham venue will serve the restaurant’s signature mezze dishes, including falafel, hummus, fattoush and tabbouleh, as well as tagines, grilled meats and salads. The site will also feature an integrated ‘Souk’ shopping space, where customers will be able to purchase ingredients, homeware and cook books.

Bruce Gillingham Pollard secured this lease on behalf of Hammerson.
