Bruce Gillingham Pollard are proud to announce that we have been working alongside D&D London; creators and operators of some of the most exciting and inventive dining concepts in the capital, to take the success of their Bluebird restaurants to New York.

Opening to the public on September 14th, following yesterday’s soft launch, Bluebird, which launched its second site in White City in April, brings a vibrant, all-day drinking and dining destination to Midtown Manhattan, with all the vitality and charisma of the original Chelsea institution.

The new restaurant is housed in a 10,400-square-foot space, located within the billion-dollar Time Warner Centre, a retail, office and residential tower in Columbus Circle, with stunning views looking over Central Park. The space; designed by CetraRuddy, the team behind London’s Sushi Samba, features a cafe seating 88 people, a private dining room and a bar and lounge, alongside the 102-cover restaurant.

Both the food and drink menus combine British and American influences; celebrating Bluebird’s new home whilst honouring its English roots. Directed by executive chef Nicolas Houlbert, the restaurant offers an evolving seasonal menu, whilst including year-round British classics like fish and chips and Cornish chicken pie.

Nigel Gillingham, Director at Bruce Gillingham Pollard said “Bluebird is iconic in the London restaurant scene, and we are delighted to be bringing the concept to New York as the inaugural step of our collaboration with D&D on their global expansion.”
