An incredible restaurant set in a building full of history

It can be quite over whelming looking to find a place to eat in Barcelona. Thankfully on our visit we had already been recommended a visit to El Nacional. This is an incredible restaurant set in a building full of history, which only adds to the experience.
The restaurant is a relatively new concept in Barcelona, combining four different restaurants and four specialized bars that offer traditional dishes from across Spain standing in an 1870’s textile factory. The menus, which we were told  change regularly, were based on the following; La Braseria for grilled and a la plancha meats, La Llotja for fish in all its forms, La Taperia for tapas and rices and La Paradeta for the seafood – all made with incredibly fresh ingredients. We opted for tapas which we washed down with various cocktails and wine!
The restaurant has absolutely nailed the various menu’s, something which historically has rarely worked – this is unquestionably because each menu is delicious and they are connoisseurs of each one! If you visit Barcelona you can’t pass it up!
