Pushing you to your limits

Pushing you to your limits

Charlotte Brunt

Core Collective is a boutique studio situated just off Kensington High Street. I first heard their name on social media and was keen to try one of their complimentary taster sessions. On entering, the space is luxurious, contemporary and cool -  think cocktail lounge more than gym. Complete with polished concrete walkways and a spacious lounge / café area and contemporary artwork that is rotated throughout the year. Unlike many other of the studio gym concepts, the changing rooms here are not an after thought – they are as immaculate and luxurious as the rest of the club.
In terms of the workout, Core Collective is completely specialist and only offers three types of classes: Velocity (circuits), Accelerate (spin) and  Resistance (TRX). The studios for these classes are spacious bearing in mind the central location and in pristine condition and the trainers are encouraging and passionate.
Like many similar boutique concepts that are very on trend at the moment, it doesn’t require membership and instead you pay for blocks of classes. Core Collective pushes you to your limits and showcases boutique fitness at its finest – well worth a trip!
